what got be through 2023

a highlight of my year

originally published 1/1/2024

where to fucking start with this year. in went through a lot of changes, yet i am still the same. i think it's a change i can't see yet. there were a lot of new experiences, places, people that affected me in various ways. i apologize for the ambiguity, but most of the experiences coming to my mind while writing this were very personal that i'm not quite ready to share yet (and if i'm not sharing it here you know it's sensitive). as i grow in age, my palate becomes refined and somewhat stagnant. the things that bring me joy stay consistent in theme, so many things that i like carried over from last year. but these things, some new some old and reliable, stood out to me when reflecting upon the year. these select, but notable, things, such as songs, albums, characters, places, etc. helped me to keep going so to speak.

broken down into categories, i would like to pay homage and feel grateful for all these things no matter when they entered into my life.

xoxo
